What is this committee about
The Historical Security Council runs by the same structures as the Security Council Committee, however it has one significant difference. In the Historical Security Council, the delegates are supposed to relive, influence, and potentially alter the outcome historical events, this year’s topic is “The aftermath of WW2”. It’s in the council’s responsibility, as part of the UN, to maintain and ensure peace and security when facing global conflicts threatening human rights.
As chairs of this committee we are beyond excited to confer about such an important historical event, we have high expectations for this year’s delegates as we know they are capable of delivering a phenomenal debate. Taking into account such commitment, we are proudly ready to initiate with this year’s MUN.
